Our website care plans look after the jobs that keep a site healthy: managed hosting, security updates, a firewall and malware scanning, regular backups and uptime monitoring, with real people on hand when you need a change. There are three plans, starting at £45 a month ex VAT. Every plan is rolling monthly and you can move up or down whenever your needs change, so you only pay for the level of care you actually use.
What is it
A website care plan is a monthly arrangement where we host your site and keep it maintained for you. Websites aren't a one-off job. Software needs updating, security threats change, backups need taking and things quietly break, from a contact form that stops sending to a page that slows down. Most small business owners don't have the time to keep on top of all that, and they shouldn't have to.
Each website care plan bundles that routine work into one predictable monthly cost, with a helpdesk you can contact when something needs changing. Essential covers the basics, Plus adds monthly support time and checks, and Premium suits businesses that want more hands-on help and planning. Uptime and performance monitoring on every plan, a helpdesk for small edits, and on Plus and Premium, monthly hours for website support or content work.
Shopify hosts and secures your store for you, so a full care plan isn't needed. Our Shopify Maintenance plan at £50 a month covers the hands-on side instead.

There are three plans, all priced ex VAT and billed monthly: Essential at £45 a month, Plus at £129 a month and Premium at £249 a month. You can compare them side by side in our website care plans collection. We always confirm exactly what's included for your site in an itemised quote before you sign up.
If your site rarely changes and you mainly want it hosted, secure and backed up, Essential is a good fit. Plus is our most popular plan, adding an hour of support or content time each month, priority replies and monthly checks. Premium suits businesses that update their site often or want regular advice, with 3 hours a month and a quarterly review call.
Yes. All of our plans are rolling monthly and you can move up or down a plan at any time. For example, you might start on Essential, move to Plus when you want regular updates, or step up to Premium during a busy period of new pages and features. Just let us know and we'll sort the change for you.
The Plus plan includes 1 hour of support or content time each month and Premium includes 3 hours. How any unused time is handled is something we confirm in your quote before you start, so you know exactly where you stand. If you regularly need more time than your plan includes, we'll talk to you about whether a different plan would suit you better.
Shopify hosts and secures your store as part of its platform, so you don't need hosting, security updates or server backups from us. Yes, WordPress sites are a common fit for our care plans, because they need regular updates and good security to stay healthy. You can read more about how we help on our WordPress website support page. If your site is built on something else, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether a care plan suits it.
Things like updating opening hours, swapping a photo, correcting prices or editing a paragraph on an existing page. Larger jobs, such as new pages, new features or a redesign, are quoted separately. On Plus and Premium, your monthly hours can also be used for support or content work. We'll always tell you up front if a request falls outside your plan.
