What does website repair and rescue involve?
Every rescue starts with getting the right access: your hosting, domain, website login and any backups. Then we diagnose the problem properly rather than patching symptoms. Common website fixes include broken pages and forms, error messages, outdated plugins and themes, slow loading, display problems on mobile, lost access to accounts and sites that have been hacked or flagged as unsafe.
Small jobs are usually sorted in a single fix session, charged on time. Bigger rescues, such as finishing an abandoned build, start with a clear plan and an estimate. Because the work is time based, the final invoice reflects the time it actually takes, and we'll tell you early if that looks like changing. We're a small, independent team who build and look after websites every day, mostly on WordPress and Shopify. That means we've seen most of the ways a site can go wrong. If yours runs on WordPress, our WordPress website support covers the updates and checks that prevent many problems in the first place.
We're also honest about scope. If a site can be repaired, we'll repair it. If it's built on something we can't sensibly support, or a fix would cost more than a rebuild, we'll tell you straight. And once it's working, our website support and website hosting can keep it that way.

How much does website repair cost?
Website repair is charged on time, so any price we give is an estimate. Smaller fixes are usually handled in a fix session (1 hour £125 or 3 hours £345 ex VAT). Larger rescues get an estimate up front. If a job takes longer than expected, we'll keep you informed and the final invoice will reflect the actual time spent.
What can you fix in a fix session?
Typical fix session jobs include broken forms, layout problems, error messages, plugin or theme conflicts, small speed improvements and content changes you can't work out how to make. If we find something bigger along the way, we'll stop, explain it and agree the next step with you before going further. See our fix session for details.
My website has been hacked. What should I do?
Change your website, hosting and email passwords, then get in touch as soon as you can. Don't delete files at random, as that can make the clean-up harder. Every hack is different, so we look at each one case by case. We'll do our best to clean the site and close the gap that let the attacker in, but we can never guarantee the outcome.
Can you fix a website built by another developer?
Usually, yes. The key is getting access to your hosting, domain and website login. If your previous developer has gone quiet, we can help you work out who holds what and recover access where possible. We'll then review the build honestly and tell you whether it makes sense to repair, finish or rebuild it.
I built my website myself or with an AI tool. Can you help?
Absolutely, and there's no judgement. Lots of sites start that way and get stuck at the tricky bits: forms, domains, email, speed or getting found on Google. We'll fix what's broken, explain what we changed and show you how to look after it, so you stay in control of your own site.
Which platforms do you work on?
Most of our website repair work is on WordPress and Shopify, and we are happy to look at other platforms and site builders too. Tell us what your site is built on when you get in touch. If it's something we can't support properly, we'll say so rather than take your money.
How quickly can you fix my website?
We aim to reply to every enquiry within one business day. Once we have access, many small fixes can be done in a single session. More involved problems take longer, and we'll give you a realistic timeframe after we've diagnosed the cause.
How do I stop the same problems happening again?
